DriFire

National Safety Apparel is pleased to announce that they have acquired DRIFIRE from Optimer Brands based in Chicago, IL.  DRIFIRE is a brand of technologically advanced performance safety apparel that was born on the battlefield to protect military personnel. Today the DRIFIRE line of products is utilized in a variety of industries, which include power generation, petrochemical, and IndyCar racing.  

The acquisition of DRIFIRE further increases National Safety Apparel’s portfolio of flame resistant (FR) brands and adds another market leader to their already established “House of Brands”. The DRIFIRE line of safety products will be promoted to distributor-partners alongside their existing ArcGuard®, Vizable 360°™, Carbon Armour™, HYDROlite FR™,  and TECGEN Select™ brands. The addition of the DRIFIRE brand further validates NSA’s commitment to building a house of premium PPE brands for their customers.

Chuck Grossman, President & CEO of National Safety Apparel is quoted as saying, “This acquisition further strengthens our position in the safety market as a leader of FR performance garments. We will continue to look for strategic acquisitions that complement the markets we serve.”
