The Chicago Protective Apparel 238-AKV-KV is an 18-inch high-heat safety glove designed with a combo construction featuring an aluminized back for radiant heat protection and a heavyweight Kevlar blend palm for contact heat resistance.

Glove Length: 18 inches (offering extended wrist and forearm coverage).

Back Material: 19 oz. Aluminized Kevlar / Para-Aramid and fiberglass blend.

Palm Material: 22 oz. Kevlar / Para-Aramid and fiberglass blend.

Inner Lining: Fully lined with wool for enhanced thermal insulation.

Radiant Heat Rating: Protects the back of the hand up to 2,000°F from radiant heat sources.

Contact Heat Rating: Protects the palm during direct contact with objects from 400°F to 600°F.
