as a breathing connection for use with the Dräger X-plore® 8000 powered air
purifying respirator system and the Dräger X-plore® 9300 air-line system.
1.6 Functional
description
The Dräger X-plore 8000 Helmet PC visor L1Z, L2Z, L3Z, L2T2, L3T4 provides
breathing air supplied via the respirator. Breathing air is supplied by a
breathing hose on the back of the helmet with visor. The breathing air flows
from the back over the head of the wearer to the inhalation area. The resulting
overpressure counteracts the penetration of air containing pollutants.
