This welding hood has earned a 1/1/1/1 rating and meets EN379 standards, so you know you’re getting the best. Whether you’re a business owner, a serious independent welder or a dedicated weekend warrior, the Jackson Safety BH3 Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with Balder Technology helps you get the job done right. It has a superior angle of view, enhanced visibility and color recognition and a variable shade (9-13) with adjustable sensitivity (some say “auto dimming”) and opening time delays. The lightweight, comfortable welding mask has a smooth, rounded perimeter, so you will wear it comfortably. The curved front cover plate offers reduced heat build-up and better reflections (angular dependence) and fogging than HSL-100. In addition, the aerodynamic shell is designed for better fume deflection than the HSL-100. It meets ANSI Z87.1 High Impact standard, is DIN Plus certified and CE certified.
