The Chicago Protective Apparel SWH-43H3P-AD is a premium, industrial-grade 43 Cal Arc Flash Lift Front Hood integrated with a slotted hard cap. It is specifically engineered to provide Category 4 protection for high-voltage electrical environments, delivering enhanced field-of-view ergonomics compared to traditional fixed-visor hoods.

Material: Dual-layer construction featuring a 1-ply 9 oz. and a 1-ply 12 oz. navy Indura UltraSoft® flame-resistant fabric blend (88% cotton / 12% nylon).

Window Dimensions: Features a highly transparent polycarbonate face shield measuring 8 inches in height and 26 inches in width.

Advanced Lift-Front Visor: The flip-up shield design allows workers to easily lift the front window when outside the hazard zone. This design significantly reduces heat fatigue, eliminates the need to constantly take off the entire hood, and offers immediate fresh air access.
