This is especially important when considering the temperatures required to handle cryogenic materials (usually well below −290°F/−180°C). *NOTE: The test measures the performance of the glove and indicates increased protection against cryogenic liquids. It does not indicate that the gloves can be immersed in cryogenic liquids for normal day-to-day use. No gloves designed to protect against cryogenic liquids should be purposefully immersed.
